Imaging USA in New Orleans | Travel Images

Oh my friends, I LOVE to travel!
It is a pleasure visiting New Orleans for annual convention of Professional Photographers of America.  If you're a photographer and have never visited Imaging USA - this is a GREAT experience.  Each time in a different city, days full of being inspired by the most amazing photographers.
My personal favorites this year have been Doug Gordon and Kimberly Wylie, although I still have another day to go.   During my free time (since I am here without kids or husband!) I've been walking around the French Quarter both at night and during the day.

For me, a visit to New Orleans is mostly about the food. :)   I've been tasting different gumbos nearly everywhere I go!  Here's a little taste of what I've done so far...

The Street performers are so talented!

And one beautiful night enjoying very long exposures....

This is called Pirates Alley, right next to the cathedral.

I hope you enjoyed the walk!
I am really looking forward to making some beautiful images this year!

Referral Gifts, Travel Pics

It is time to update the blog!
I'll discuss the Referral Gift program after a few TRAVEL PHOTOS!!!

For two years in a row now, my husband has been in Barcelona, Spain for a week in February.  One year ago I couldn't join him due to an injury and I was very very disappointed.  But this year everything is fine and dandy and there was no reason not to tag along!  Plus I found airfare for just $600!!
So here's a little recap of a week with the camera in Barcelona...

At Park Guell, we fell in love with Gaudi's style of architecture: whimsical, nature reflective and very colorful...

The view from our first hotel was amazing at night! The National Museum of Art was lit up every night.

One day we browsed the Gothic Quarter and stumbled into Placa Reial on accident.

And the lovely Segrada Familia (another Gaudi project) occupied one night and a good portion of the next day..

It was a wonderful week and it was a lot of work to whittle it down to just what I posted on Facebook, Flickr and here!
