Little Miss W | Puyallup Childrens Portraits
Little Miss W came for the annual portraits and this year it was all by herself! What fun we had! Fake snow, ornaments, a bunch of portraits taken with an emphasis on make believe. Here are the top 10 pictures as chosen by her parents.
Look at those boots!!
I think little girl smiles are precious!
Because of the weather, we set up a little studio area in my living room. Thanks to my own kids, we've collected a few things to take pictures!
And the ballerina takes a bow!

See, wasn't that fun? Thanks for visiting with us!

The L Family | Olympia Family Portraits
I love meeting new friends! Mr. & Mrs. L would be visiting family in the Olympia area during their kids' fall break and wanted some fall, Washington pictures for their visit. Washington definitely delivered! We had sun, rain, wind and colorful trees! Only a few muddy knees and everyone stayed mostly clean. Olympia isn't my usual stomping ground, so we picked our locations through aerial views on the maps. I must say, Eastside Olympia is beautiful. The parks we found, the lush grass and trees were perfect for the visual contrast we were creating.
So please welcome The L Family!
Everyone needs a picture with Dad!
And little brothers, do they add or distract? Probably both.
Little Miss L loved having her photo taken and was ready for anything I asked her to do.
At one point we had to run for cover from some sideways rain!
Thank goodness for a beautiful city park!
Thank goodness for a beautiful city park!
Who would you rather meet in a park? This handsome 4 year old (left) or a 4 year old being The Flash (right)? I think either one would be fine with me.
Yes, we did manage to get all four together. Even if the wind tried to take Mrs. L's hair a different direction and young Mr. L had another face in store for me.
Quick, cross the street and do something cute in the middle!
And ending the hour with some sibling love...

The W Family | Orting Family Portraits
Meet the W Family! Mr. & Mrs. W decided on an energetic, play-based family portrait at one of the local parks. We had so much fun! With two boys ages two and five this is my favorite way to approach them. They warm up to me quickly and get more caught up in lightly directed play, which allows me to capture their playful personalities. Now get ready for some energy!
Thanks for visiting with us!

Holiday Cards | Puyallup Family Photographer
Sorry for the delay, but it's time to unveil the annual selection of Holiday cards!!
Thanks to Jamie Schultz Designs I am branching out with a clean and modern layout this year. I love the bright colors and easy layouts. Teal, burlap, polka dots and diagonals! Yay! Oh, and none of these samples are being used by these clients. :)
Layout 1: diagonal image on the front with two small image openings on the back
Layout 2: a vertical card with 3 openings on the front and a large opening
on the back
Layout 3: This is meant for a folded card. Four openings on the front, three on the inside and a year insignia on the back.
Layout 4: a fun front and back selection with just one opening on each side.
Layout 5: Appropriate for both a folded card or double sided, one opening on each side.
Layout 6: a very burlap color brown with bright red accents, one opening on each side
If you'd like to purchase a customized layout with your family pictures and name please email me with the layout of your choice and which pictures you'd like to use.
Thank you!

The B Family | Puyallup Family Portraits
I've had the priviledge of photographing the B Family for 3 years now and it's such a pleasure to be a small part of their lives. The boys have grown so much since those first pictures. J & A have recently added to their family - adopting little O-man! Any family portraits with three kids ages 5 and under is very energetic hour and this was no exception. For one thing, we had chosen parts of Puyallup for the portraits. It was also the last weekend of the Puyallup Fair! And if you've been a guest here to The Fair, you know the traffic and parking!
So my recipe for this session was
Take 1 adorable family
2 loving parents
3 energetic boys
shake gently
guide with silliness
and achieve good honest smiles!
I think it worked out pretty well.
Young Mr. S had no trouble smiling and being ready for the camera.
Young Mr. G took a few minutes to warm up to the idea of sitting and looking in one direction.
O-Man was very eager and ready to do anything I asked.
And of course, boys do what boys do. Why not capture it?
J & A have pictures of kissing the boys as newborns. I thought it was sweet to try and do something similar with O-Man
And of course, as all UW Huskies fans must, the photo with the jerseys!
