The L Family | Olympia Family Portraits

I love meeting new friends!  Mr. & Mrs. L would be visiting family in the Olympia area during their kids' fall break and wanted some fall, Washington pictures for their visit.  Washington definitely delivered!  We had sun, rain, wind and colorful trees!  Only a few muddy knees and everyone stayed mostly clean.  Olympia isn't my usual stomping ground, so we picked our locations through aerial views on the maps.  I must say, Eastside Olympia is beautiful.  The parks we found, the lush grass and trees were perfect for the visual contrast we were creating.
So please welcome The L Family!
Everyone needs a picture with Dad!

And little brothers, do they add or distract?  Probably both.

Little Miss L loved having her photo taken and was ready for anything I asked her to do.

At one point we had to run for cover from some sideways rain!
Thank goodness for a beautiful city park!

Who would you rather meet in a park?  This handsome 4 year old (left) or a 4 year old being The Flash (right)?  I think either one would be fine with me.

Yes, we did manage to get all four together.  Even if the wind tried to take Mrs. L's hair a different direction and young Mr. L had another face in store for me.

Quick, cross the street and do something cute in the middle!

And ending the hour with some sibling love...

The A Family | Spokane Family Portraits

Spokane is my hometown and I love to take my kids there to visit with my family.  My sister lives there with her family (you may remember them from this post).  Usually I take pictures of just the girls or just her, but this time we got the whole family involved!  Mrs. A wanted lots of green and something on the north side of town.  We kicked around a few location ideas and settled on Whitworth University.  They were married at the church near campus and we have family ties to the school and church.
It was a really hot evening!  I was baking as I drove around campus looking for the best shade, the most green and some brick.  Ha ha, Whitworth is full of brick buildings!  We decided on this lawn in front of Weyerhauser Hall.
Meet my oldest neice, Ms. H!  She's a spunky girl with lots of imagination and amazing blue eyes.
Next is the darling Ms. T.  She holds has a taste for fashion, flare and enjoys finally begin a big sister.  And to add to the fun there is a new addition - Ms. C.  The youngest little lady likes to walk, talk on the phone and give "big smiles."

To see any of the photos larger simply click on a group and you can scroll through them all.

We got so many adorable photos it was hard to narrow it down for this blog post.  Please leave them a little love in the comments!

Thanks for visiting!

Cousins with a Twist | Bremerton Family Portraits

When cousins Amanda and Staci both won portrait packages at a local auction, they immediately got busy imagining and visualizing what they wanted their family portraits to look like.  Since these gals have grown up together, it was only seconds before they were on the same page with similar ideas.  In order to keep so much the same style for both of them we decided to do their session at the same time in the same location.  While nailing down a date was the hard part, the weather didn't argue with us and the session was overflowing with awesome!  Come and see!
